What do you want to be when you grow up? It took William more than 60 years to find the answer. That’s when he became a writer. Before that he spent more than 25 years as CFO or CEO of various businesses–what else do you do with Bachelors, Masters and partial Ph.D. degrees in business?

His next book will deal with the plot twists, tension and conflict surrounding three other automobile companies, as well known as General Motors. Only this story unfolds in our lifetimes, although it reaches back into the dark corners of World War II.
When he’s not traveling and taking thousands of photographs, William Cowie lives with the love of his life and Lily, their spunky little Cavalier, in suburban Denver.
